Superior Iron Man: Only the ones with a near-omniscient knowledge of the events of the Battlerealm, but who've never spoken a word... Sunspot: Talking a lot doesn't equate to intelligence, despite how much you seem to enjoy speaking. Superior Iron Man: Whatever kid. Let's hunt down your "asset" so I can stop worrying about you using it to stage a corporate takeover.
- Transmission #1 - Upon starting the Quest
Sunspot: Summoner, I believe I owe you an explanation. Perhaps you'll be more forthcoming with me if I extend the olive branch first... Sunspot: You see, the asset I've lost is not a what, but a who. Sunspot: His name is Warlock and he's a mechanical organism from another planet... He has a beautiful molecular and physiological composition. Sunspot: His race... they have a directive to infect and consume, but Warlock... Warlock is unique. Sunspot: He possesses the ability, but not the impulse. Sunspot: This Techno-Organic infection - this "Transmode Virus" of his - was the subject of an experiment that led us to this place.

Sunspot: I had constructed a reality-stasis chamber to isolate any potential problems arising from the experiment. Sunspot: In theory, it separates anyone inside of it from their reality so as to prevent catastrophe. Sunspot: Unfortunately, Nathaniel Essex and his cronies found their way inside and sabotaged my work to try and use Warlock for their own ends. Superior Iron Man: Let me guess, Portuguese tech-bro over here forgot to lock the door? Sunspot: Cala boca! I am Brazilian. Mister Sinister is a genius, and an evil one at that... idiota...

Sunspot: Their intrusion caused the chamber to destabilize and it short-circuited my equipment and sent us here, to the Battlerealm. Sunspot: In the confusion, Warlock became scared and...
