A Crystal is a common item that holds resources or Champions intended to help the Summoner progress throughout Marvel: Contest of Champions. Unlike most other items, Crystals typically don't expire and can be stored indefinitely to be opened at any time. Some Crystals even contain extra prizes in addition to their primary loot. Crystals can either be purchased, built with Crystal Shards, or rewarded by playing various game modes.
Similar to Selectors, Nexus Crystals are a special kind of Crystal that allow the Summoner to choose from a set of potential rewards.
