Carina: Good work out there, Summoner. It looks like Iron Man and Doctor Strange were able to get everything working again.
Carina: That said, we need to look into what happened. A coordinated attack from Hood, Stryfe, and Red Skull doesn’t really add up.
Carina: Nor does any of them causing a coordinated security breach from outside the building.
Carina: Ægon, Guillotine; please keep things cool here until we’re back.
Ægon: We shall maintain the social temperature, Carina.
Guillotine: Oui, what he said. Bonne chance!

Caption: In the security core of Avengers’ Tower, Carina parses through the logs of the main defensive AI.
Carina: Here it is… the breach lines up with this log. Some kind of malicious program that shut everything down, and signaled the attackers.
Carina: But who could… wait a moment.
Caption: Carina spins on a heel and gestures into the darkness of the core room. A figure is pulled into the light, dragged by the latent ISO-8 in their body.
Carina: Civil Warrior… why are you sneaking around down here?!
Civil Warrior: Impressive trick, Ms. Tivan. I’m conducting my own investigation into what--or who--has been sabotaging the parley attempts between the Avengers.
Civil Warrior: And I’m getting closer. Have you ever heard of a group calling themselves… “Ouroboros?”
Carina: We’re listening…

Civil Warrior: From what I can gather, they’re an organization dedicated to “liberating the Battlerealm” from the Elder’s “tyrannical rule”; present company included.
Civil Warrior: Not exactly the freshest mission statement, but they’ve set themselves apart by remaining clandestine.
Civil Warrior: They’ve allied themselves with anyone willing to fight you, and equipped them with a bounty of weaponry and ISO-8, as you saw.
Civil Warrior: I still don’t know who their leaders are, but from what I’ve uncovered they’ve proliferated rapidly since the Grandmaster was defeated by you two.
Civil Warrior: Oddly enough, every lead I’ve followed has led back to the Avengers.
Carina: Ouroboros… they definitely sound a cut above the other organizations we’ve been up against.
Carina: What do you mean by the leads coming back here?
Civil Warrior: Well, I--wait, someone is coming!

Caption: Carina’s instincts cause her to drop low, just in time to dodge a massive computer console that smashes into the wall behind her.
She-Hulk: Unnghhh…
Carina: Whoa! She-Hulk!?
She-Hulk: Rrrnnngghhh!
Carina: Something’s off… she’s normally got a few more words to share than Banner.
Civil Warrior: Not to mention that look in her eyes. Summoner, let’s get to the bottom of this!

Civil Warrior: I don’t think it’s him…
Civil Warrior: Either way, he’s beyond reasoning! Let’s get him under control and figure out what’s going on here!

Caption: Rather than respond with words, War Machine grips his right arm and unleashes a hail of machine gun fire on the trio, who dive into cover.
War Machine: You’re working with that traitor, Stark! Your betrayal won’t stand!
Civil Warrior: War Machine, it’s us! Take it easy!
War Machine: Your betrayal will be punished! Stark, too! Traitors!
Carina: Someone’s got a one-track mind…
Civil Warrior: I don’t think that’s Rhodes… either someone else is in his suit, or this is the work of Ouroboros!
