Dracula is a Mystic Champion. Being a Mystic Champion, he has a Class Bonus against Cosmic Champions, but is weak to Science Champions.
Bio[]
Born a Wallachian noble in 1431, the mortal man Vlad Tepes Dracula led a life of violence and brutality. Cut down in a battle that should have meant his end, Dracula was infected with vampirism and rose again with darker powers. Growing immensely powerful over the centuries, Dracula now rules as the Voivode of Vampyrsk, the Vampire Nation. Though he now plays the role of a more refined leader, and his days as a medieval warlord are behind him, Dracula’s thirst for blood and violence will never truly be sated.
Mechanics[]
Count Dracula, the Lord of the Vampires, the Voivode of Vampyrsk, and the Prince of Darkness himself, thrives off the terror his very presence brings down on his foes. Inflicting an extremely potent but slow-acting Degeneration, Dracula’s kit revolves around increasing the speed at which this Degeneration deals ticks of damage. With comfortably high uptime on his utility, Dracula can focus on chasing high-skill gameplay to eke out as much damage from his Degeneration for as long as possible.

Abilities[]
Blood of Vampires
- Dracula’s vampiric blood makes him Immune to Heal Block, but while fighting #Silver Champions he suffers -25% Regeneration Rate.
- Driven by bloodthirst, Dracula only benefits from half the potency of the Mystic Dispersion Mastery, but after a Buff on the Opponent is Nullified he inflicts a X Bleed Passive for 3 seconds.
| Tier | Direct Damage |

| 54.9 | |
| 145.5 | |
| 364.8 | |
| 731.1 | |
| 1247.4 | |
| 3167.7 |
Dev Notes: The powers of vampirism are vast, but not without drawbacks, so keep that in mind if you take Dracula up against Silver Surfer.
Dread of Night – Dire Degeneration
- Dracula strikes terror into the very souls of mortals. As an Attacker, at the start of each fight, inflict a Degeneration Passive dealing X Direct Damage over 666 seconds. This is unaffected by Ability Accuracy and scales with Base Attack only.
| Tier | Direct Damage |
|---|---|
| 14640 | |
| 38800 | |
| 97280 | |
| 194960 | |
| 332640 | |

- Charging a Heavy Attack or Interrupting any attack with a Light Attack makes this Degeneration Dire, increasing its tick rate by 666%.
- The Degeneration remains Dire as long as Dracula continues attacking, or while a Striker or Striker Opening are active.
Dev Notes: The total damage of this Degeneration is staggering, but because it lasts so long, the damage per tick isn’t very impressive. You’ll need to make the Degeneration Dire to increase the rate at which it deals damage. You can Parry then charge Heavy Attacks for an easy-access trigger, or go for riskier Light Interrupts to trigger the Dire.
The Degeneration remains Dire as long as Dracula continues attacking, which includes during his Special Attacks. Either carry a Light Interrupt combo into a Special, or cancel a Heavy charge into a Special to maximize your Dire uptime.
Form of Mist – Invisibility
- Hitting the Opponent’s Block with a Basic Attack grants Dracula an Invisibility Buff for 2 seconds. This will not re-trigger while active.
- If this Invisibility causes an attack to Miss, or if Dracula is struck while it’s active, it goes on cooldown for 12 seconds when it ends.
Dev Notes: This is the safest way to get Light Interrupts to trigger your Dire Degeneration. Hit the Opponent’s Block, pause just long enough for them to attack you back, then retaliate with a Light to safely Interrupt them. If you’re quick enough, you’ll Interrupt them before their attack has a chance to trigger a Miss, meaning your Invisibility won’t go on cooldown.
Vampiric Drain – Special Attacks
- During his Special Attacks 1 and 2, Dracula gains a Regeneration Passive healing 0.25% of his Max Health per second. The tick rate of this Regeneration is increased by half of the Dire Degeneration’s increased tick rate.
- Each sword hit Nullifies a Buff on the Opponent. If a Fury Buff is Nullified, Dracula steals it to gain a Fury Buff with twice the potency until the end of the Special Attack. Max potency: +X.
| Tier | Attack Rating |
|---|---|
| 183 | |
| 485 | |
| 1216 | |
| 2437 | |
| 4158 | |
| 10559 |
Dev Notes: Try to make the Degeneration Dire before activating a Special Attack– it’ll remain Dire through the whole Special resulting in more damage and more healing.
Dracula has 6 sword hits in his Special 1, and 2 in his Special 2. Remember that Dracula also inflicts a Bleed after Nullifying, so if he Nullifies and steals a Fury, the stolen Fury will increase the damage of the resulting Bleed.
Signature Ability[]
The Prince of Darkness - Always Active
- As an Attacker, when the Opponent’s Unblockable, Unstoppable, or Evade effects fail due to reduced Ability Accuracy, inflict a X Bleed Passive for 3 seconds.
| Tier | Direct Damage |
|---|---|
| 45.75 - 73.2 | |
| 121.25 - 194 | |
| 304 - 486.4 | |
| 609.25 - 1218.5 | |
| 1039.5 - 2079 | |
| 2639.75 - 5279.5 |
- Dracula gains +X Attack Rating for each Armor Break Debuff he is suffering from, up to 5.
| Tier | Attack Rating |
|---|---|
| 45.75 - 73.2 | |
| 121.25 - 194 | |
| 304 - 486.4 | |
| 609.25 - 1218.5 | |
| 1039.5 - 2079 | |
| 2639.75 - 5279.5 |
Dev Notes: Once awakened, Dracula will want to hunt certain matchups. Certain Nodes and Cosmic Champions that inflict Armor Breaks provide almost free damage, and Dracula’s Slow and Fear effects will not only prevent, but now actively punish the things they counter.
Note that these Bleeds only inflict if the effect fails due to reduced Ability Accuracy, so it won’t work against Champions and Nodes that protect the Ability Accuracy of their effects (like an awakened Deathless Thanos).
Special Attacks[]
Special 1 - Wallachian Warlord
Wield vampiric speed to assail the foe, for the dead travel fast.
- On activation, inflict a Slow Passive for 40 seconds.
Dev Notes: This attack has 6 sword hits, meaning plenty of Nullifies and opportunities to steal Fury Buffs, and to Bleed the Opponent.
Special 2 - Dark Cloud
Darken the battle with the screeching fangs of night.
- During this attack, Dracula’s Degeneration becomes Dire, increasing its tick rate by 666%. If it was already Dire, its tick rate is instead increased to 1200%.
- Each bat hit inflicts a Fear Passive for 60 seconds. This can be inflicted through Block.
Dev Notes: This Special Attack animation continues for a bit after the final hit– you can Block or perform another action to cancel out of it, but the Degeneration will remain Dire for as long as you can let the animation linger.
Special 3 - A Night Eternal
Too late, they realize the truth: they were not Dracula's opponent, they were merely his prey.
- Re-inflict Dracula’s Degeneration Passive.
- Inflict a Power Steal Passive stealing a Bar of Power over 3 seconds.
- At the end of this attack, inflict a X Bleed Passive for 3 seconds. If the Opponent is below 30% Health, this Bleed gains up to 1260% base potency based on their missing Health.
| Tier | Direct Damage |
|---|---|
| 297.56 | |
| 788.61 | |
| 1977.22 | |
| 3962.56 | |
| 6760.91 | |
| 17168.93 |
Dev Notes: In those fights where even Dracula’s immense Degeneration can’t take down a whole Health pool, the Special 3 will begin his night of terror anew.
This Bleed’s potency increases substantially the lower the Opponent’s Health is, making this an excellent finishing move. Note that the Bleed is inflicted after the Special finishes, meaning any damage dealt by the attack itself can further increase the potency of the Bleed.

- Ensure you’re getting the most out of Dracula’s Regeneration with the Recovery Mastery.

- Since he’s likely to get wailed on by the bruisers in the Science class, shore Dracula up with a touch of Physical Resistance.
