Wong: I appreciate your punctuality Summoner, but before we begin let me just lock up the Sanctum quickly... Wong: There. All done. Now I know Strange called you here, but he has his hands full dealing with other bigger... more purple problems. Wong: In the meantime, I figured I would make use of your assistance by investigating the erosion of important protective spells around... what? Wong: What? When did I get here? Wong: Summoner, it's me! Wong! I've been here since the beginning! Helping Strange while he was trapped on the Astral Plane? Wong: Protecting the Sanctum Sanctorum? Defending against the threat of Dormammu? No? Nothing? Wong: *Sigh* Wong: Let's just get going. I can already tell this is going to be a long trip... Caption: *With a wave of his hands Wong opens a portal to the edge of the Battlerealm and the duo depart.*
- Transmission #1 - Upon starting the Quest
Wong: In the early days of the Contest, Strange was afraid of what could lay beyond the limits of the known Battlerealm. Wong: So he cast these protective spells along the edges of the Contest, intended to warn us of invasion and defend against intrusion. Wong: But that was many years ago, and since then their power has begun to fade. Wong: If you ask me, it's all the temporal disturbances caused by irresponsible Champions messing with space and time. Wong: Mutants and machines rewriting history. Spider-people webbing up the Multiverse. All of it bad for the stability of reality! Wong: I tell you this now Summoner, I am not some mystical janitor on call to mop up the Battlerealm! Wong: All this chaos... it has consequences, and one day those little chaos chickens will come home to roost. Mark my words...

Wong: Finally! We have reached the first of many wards. Caption: *Wong motions to a glittering gyroscope of mystical sigils and arcane marks floating in the air ahead.*
Wong: Something is wrong... this isn't degradation, this is sabotage! Someone is interfering with the spell!
Red Skull: Fear not Master Wong, for my dark work will soon be done. Wong: Red Head?! Red Skull: Red Skull! Now stand aside as I dismantle this pitiful protection spell. Wong: I've got to stabilize it! Summoner, stop Red Skull while I try to save the ward!
