Enchantress is a Mystic Champion. Being a Mystic Champion, she has a Class Bonus against Cosmic Champions, but is weak to Science Champions.
Bio[]
Amora, better known as the Enchantress, is among the oldest known Asgardians and the possessor of some of the realm’s most powerful magics. Her arcane powers derive not only from a natural gift for manipulating Asgardian energies, but also from a lifetime’s worth of earned spellcasting knowledge. Even powerless, Amora remains a threat through her mastery of the art of seduction. With a simple kiss, she can enslave almost any man to her will.
Mechanics[]
Hold onto your hearts, Summoners! Amora the Enchantress aims to steal it, and every other heart in the Contest with her powerful Spells and mastery of seduction!
On Attack, use Enchantress’s Special Attack 1 to select from over 10 unique Spells to sculpt her utility to fit nearly any situation! Her Special Attack 2 then gains bonus effects based on how many Spells have been previously cast, and the types of Spells they were. When all her Spells are cast, Enchantress approaches levels of power truly befitting the highest caliber of archmages.
On Defense, Enchantress weaves a deadly web of Spells that must be disassembled in order to attack her safely. Failure to do so results in Enchantress preventing incoming damage, and then reflecting that damage right back at the Attacker!

Abilities[]
Artist of Seduction
- The ultimate thief of hearts, Enchantress’s Light and Medium Attacks deal Energy Damage and Power Steal up to 1% of her Opponent’s Max Power. This ability can’t affect the Opponent if they have their Special Attack 3.
- Enchantress is Immune to Power Lock and her Ability and Combat Power Rates can’t be reduced below 50%.
- When inflicted with an Opposing Champion’s effect that would cause her to lose Power, Enchantress Passively Gains that same amount of Power over 7 seconds.
- Charging a Heavy Attack after landing any non-Combo Ending Basic Attack inflicts a Stun Passive for 0.75 seconds. The following Heavy Attack grants Enchantress no Power.
- The first and second hits of Enchantress’s Heavy Attack prevent her from using her Special Attack 3 and Special Attack 2 respectively until the Heavy Attack finishes.
- Enchantress uses her Special Attack 1 to cast Spells. Casting a Spell inflicts or grants a corresponding temporary effect. Spells themselves are indefinite and unaffected by Ability Accuracy.
- When Enchantress is struck by a Special Attack while 9 or more Spells are active, she loses concentration and all are removed, each dealing a burst of X Direct Damage to the Opponent.

Dev Notes: Repeated use of Enchantress’s Special Attack 1 is critical to her kit, and thus Power generation and control is everything to her. These abilities allow her to generate a considerable Power advantage over her Opponent, and then convert that Power into Spells through her Special Attack 1. Take special note of her ability to use the 3 hits of her Heavy Attack to essentially pick which Special Attack she will throw, even when she has 3 Bars of Power. This is a great way to ensure you never have too much Power.
Abjurative Casting - As a Defender
- For each active Spell, 20% of all incoming damage is prevented. If any Spells are still active at the start of Enchantress’s next Special Attack, the prevented damage is sent back to the Attacker as Direct Damage. This is unaffected by Ability Accuracy.
- Each Debilitate effect on Enchantress counts as a negative Spell for the purposes of this ability.
- At the start of each fight, and when using her Special Attack 1, Enchantress casts a predefined combination of 3 Spells at random. Doing so depletes 60% of her current Power.
- Until she has thrown her Special Attack 1 two times, Enchantress cannot throw her Special Attack 2 and is more likely to throw Special Attacks. This resets after throwing her Special Attack 2.
- Enchantress’s Ability and Combat Power Rates are reduced by -20%.
Dev Notes: This damage reflection ability is what makes Enchantress a truly terrifying Defender, and must be respected at all times. In order to safely deal damage to her, you must remove all of her active Spells using their Removal Triggers (see Amora’s Spellbook below). Doing so requires a level head and a strong command of the fight. It is recommended to bring a Champion that can deal lots of damage in short bursts, with minimal setup, as you will need to take advantage of the short windows where Enchantress’s shields are down. Take care to remember those removal triggers! If you forget, they are written on the pause screen while the Spell is active.
Amora’s Spellbook - Evocation
- Fireball: ↓ , ↓ ,→ ; Blizzard: ↑ , ↑ ,→ ; Chain Lightning: ↑ , ↑ , ↓
- Damaging effects are inflicted by the final hit of Enchantress’s Special Attacks, including through Block, and deal X damage over 10 seconds.

- As a Defender, these effects are Passives instead of Debuffs.
- Removal Trigger: All active Evocation Spells end if Enchantress is Intercepted while not Unstoppable.
Dev Notes: The only real school of wizardry, these are Enchantress’s damage Spells. Each inflicts a unique DoT, allowing Enchantress to work around Opponent’s immunities. Each spell is balanced against the others, be that by damage, or utility, but the more mathematically minded among you may notice that one has a slightly higher damage output than the others, so long as you’re willing to gamble.
Amora’s Spellbook - Transmutation
- Levitate: ↑ , ↑ , ↑ ; Haste: → , → , → ; Etherealness: ← , ← , ←
- Effects granted by Transmutation Spells last 20 seconds. If they have a potency or chance, that value is 30%. They do not stack and are removed when Enchantress has no active Transmutation Spells.
- Removal Trigger: All active Transmutation Spells end when Enchantress’s Heavy Attack is Interrupted or Punished.
Dev Notes: These Spells buff Enchantress to make her very resilient. Importantly, each one also protects the removal conditions of other spells, so when fighting her, they often need to be removed first. Pro Tip: Unless you have a Miss counter, the safest way to remove Etherealness is to let Enchantress throw her Heavy Attack, and then attempt to punish the final hit. Even if you Miss, you will have time to Block or dash back before Enchantress recovers from the animation.
Amora’s Spellbook - Enchantment
- Dispel: ↓ , ↑ , ↓ ; Antipathy: → , ← , → ; Wilt: ← , → , ←
- Effects inflicted by Enchantment Spells last 25 seconds. If they have a potency, that potency is 30%. They do not stack and are removed when Enchantress has no active Enchantment Spells.
- Removal Trigger: All active Enchantment Spells end when Enchantress is knocked down.
Dev Notes: These are Enchantress’s Buff control Spells. Individually, they aren’t overly strong, however with all three active, Enchantress can exercise a considerable amount of control over her Opponent’s Buffs, and that’s before using Enchantress’s Special Attack 2 to double the potencies of the Neutralize and Atrophy Spells.
Signature Ability[]
Take Your Heart - New Enchantment Spell:
- Charm Champion: ↑ , ↓ , ↑
- Enchantment Spell effects last an additional +3 - 10 seconds.
- Whenever a Buff fails to activate on the Opponent for a reason other than chance, or they are Immune to a Damaging effect, Enchantress instantly Power Steals 1 - 4% of their Max Power. As an Attacker, this potency is reduced by 75%.
Dev Notes: Simply Awakening Enchantress grants Enchantress an extremely powerful new Spell, giving her access to her Charm effect pretty much indefinitely. This will often be the first Spell you cast, as it increases Enchantress’s Power Steal, speeding up her entire loop. Watch out for the third ability when Enchantress is Defending a Hazard Shift node, as Champion’s who normally clear those using Immunities will find it harder to keep up a good tempo and grant Enchantress extra Power. Look instead for Champions that deal with those Damaging Debuffs in unorthodox ways.
Special Attacks[]
Special 1 - Spellcraft
Amora draws upon her vast knowledge of magics, Asgardian and beyond to cast a singular spell selected specifically to subjugate her adversary.
- As an Attacker, after the first hit of this attack, time will slow. Swiping Up, Down, Left, or Right in any combination corresponding to one of the Spells in Enchantress’s Spellbook exits slowed time and casts that Spell.
- Tapping the Block input twice or inputting a combination that is not a Spell exits slowed time and casts an Evocation Spell at random.
Dev Notes: You can swipe on the left or the right sides of the screen for these inputs. The combinations for each Spell are written in the three sections below. Hot tip: If you ever forget a Spell combination, simply pause the game to see the full list written out!
Special 2 - Meteor Swarm
Using ambient magical energy from her previously cast spells, Amora summons and empowers a storm of comets that pummel all opposition to dust and ash.
- This attack gains +X Attack Rating for each active Spell up to 12, as well as different effects for each category of Spell that has, or is tied for, the highest number of active instances.

- Transmutation: Lifesteal 0.15% of damage dealt for each active Spell. Doubled if the Spell is Transmutation. Max Lifesteal: 1.80%.
- Enchantment: Reactivate the effect of each active Spell. Double the effect’s potency if the Spell is Enchantment.
Dev Notes: Enchantress’s Special Attack 2 essentially asks you to pick between going hard into one Spell category really hard for lots of one effect, or trying to keep an equal count among multiple categories to get multiple combinatory effects of smaller potencies. Both are valid choices, but be aware of the ways the different effects can interact. The Critical Rating from Evocation can increase the amount of health recovered from Life Steal, and the reactivation effect from Enchantment Spells can reinflict the Damage-Over-Time effects from Evocation Spells with the higher Attack Rating of the Special Attack 2.
Special 3 - You Shall Love Me
No one can resist the ensorcelling beauty of the Enchantress. Amora castigates the will of her foe, draining their energy and leaving them bewitched, bewildered, and begging to be further controlled.
- Inflict a non-stacking 25% Charm Debuff for 50 seconds and Power Steal up to 1 Bar of Power.
Dev Notes: Before Awakening Enchantress, you may find yourself using this Charm to assist in keeping certain Power Gaining Champions in check. Worth noting is that the Charm is inflicted before the Power Steal, meaning that the total Power Stolen is actually 1.25 Bars.

Strengths and Weaknesses[]
Strengths[]
- Buff Control Flexibility
- Through the use of her different Spells, Enchantress has access to three types of Buff control: Nullify, Neutralize, and Atrophy. This gives her extremely wide range, since if any one of those is not available in a given fight, Enchantress can fall back on the other two.
- Power Advantage
- While it’s base potency is quite low, Enchantress’s constant Power Steal slowly adds up to a massive difference in Power generated/spent over the course of the fight, winning the resource war against almost any Opponent. Her Charm Debuff kicks this up to eleven by increasing the potency of all her Power Steal effects, while kneecapping the Opponent’s Power generation abilities.
- Long Fights
- Enchantress’s Power advantage and resource accumulation level her up over the course of the fight to truly godlike capacities. With all of her Spells cast at least once in the fight, she can repeatedly use her Special Attack 2 to reapply them for incredible control, Critical Rating, and Lifesteal, making her victory all but assured.
Weaknesses[]
- Spell Concentration (Removal Triggers)
- Casting and maintaining so many Spells requires a clear mind, and being struck in certain ways can cause Enchantress to lose her hold on certain Spells, causing their immediate loss. When fighting her on Defense, pay careful attention to what these triggers are and exploit them to undo her web of magic. Be careful though! The effects of certain Spells protect the Removal Triggers of others!
- High Power Usage
- While Enchantress has a wide coverage of RPG utility, she often needs to have multiple Spells working in conjunction in order to achieve the same results as a Champion focused on a single piece of utility. Because of this, she also needs to spend a lot more total Bars of Power than the average Champion to both access her utility and damage. While she does generate Power much faster than most other Champions, she is overall quite slow in short fights.
- Debilitate
- As a Defender, Enchantress’s greatest threat is the damage reflection from her Abjurative Casting ability. The more Spells she has active, the more damage she absorbs and reflects. Thankfully, each Debilitate on her reduces the threat by an equal amount. Be on the lookout for Champions who can keep a Debilitate on the Enchantress easily, and at a high stack count.
Recommended Masteries[]
- Mystic Dispersion
- Mystic Champions gain 12.0% Power each time a Buff is Nullified or its duration expires off their Opponent.
Dev Notes: This Mastery is incredible on almost every Mystic Champion, but is almost a must on Enchantress, since her kit is so hungry for Power. If you can afford it, running 5/5 in this Mastery can have huge returns, since Enchantress doesn’t have to worry about gaining too much Power thanks to her Heavy Attack.
