A Skeleton Key is an item that opens a Gate in a Mephisto's Haded Invasions Quest of the same Tier. There are four tiers of keys: Heroic, Master, Epic and Legendary. A key can be obtained by completing the Daily Quest Hades Invasions - Limbo or trading Lost Souls (300 for an Epic or Legendary, 150 for a Heroic or Master) in the special Soul Boosts Store.
