It is preceded by Raw Nerve and succeeded by The Law.

Civil Warrior: Under whose authority? Punisher 2099: Jake Gallows, Ministry of Punishment of the American Hydra Empire, with jurisdiction extending beyond national borders and alternate timelines to prosecute criminals to the fullest extent of the law. Punisher 2099: And the law has no patience with vigilantes... don't interfere with my work again, or next time even the stars-and-stripes won't protect you.

Punisher 2099: You can't imagine how much crime punishment has advanced in my era. Your archaic justice system have been replaced by an efficient, all-encompassing surveillance state, and immediate trials and executions. Punisher 2099: The Hydra Empire even passed a new law ending the statute of limitations for major crimes committed in any time period. That's why I was able to return to the XXI century to hunt Carnage. Punisher 2099: The law enforcement of the future was built upon your legacy. Join us, and we can do the same for your time period. Punisher: A fascist time-travelling police in the hands of a power-drunk sociopath. Can't imagine anything worse. Punisher 2099: Better than being a half-measure, tagging along with false moralists. Falcon: Hurry up, Castle! Carnage's trail is... who were you talking to? Punisher: Nobody. Let's go.
