Dialogue[]
Caption: These foes dealt with, Carina rapidly goes about her next plans.
Carina: Steve, you've been data scraping as we go right?
Civil Warrior: Grabbing every byte I can manage and internal systems are already organizing it into shareable packets.
Carina: Great, we need evidence. Guillotine, see if you can shut down the gates for these stations.
Guillotine: I have the controls figured out, they assumed the villainous users would require rather simple instructions.
Carina: I believe I have enough energy in me to open our own portal to the summit. We're crashing that party.
Ægon: So long as the effort will not be too taxing upon you, Carina.
Carina: We can't trust that Ouroboros won't follow any gate we use to the council chambers. I got this... I hope.
- Transmission #1 - Upon starting the Quest
Caption: Carina's teleportation is powerful, but it is mystically diverted at the last moment, landing the group just outside the summit.
Punisher: By order of the Council of the Battlerealm, you are to stay right out here until you're told otherwise.
Carina: Castle? Where is the regular security detail? Tell me you're not the only one protecting everyone here, there's an emergency.
Punisher: I promise you I can handle any emergency that comes up. Once the Council's session is on break, you can speak to them.
Ægon: We have proof that Ouroboros has infiltrated the Battlerealm, possibly even the Council itself. We are all in mortal danger.
Punisher: Tell ya' what, I'll do a sweep for anyone suspicious. Maybe I'll even call in back-up if needed. But you're waiting right here. That a deal?
Carina: Tell anyone you can of how important this is! We're talking about the difference between total war or peace.
Punisher: Be not afraid, Carina. Your agenda of peace will soon come to fruition.
Caption: With that, Frank Castle ventures inside the Council chambers, leaving the group of heroes to wait outside and calculate their next move.
- Transmission #2
Caption: There is a moment of uneasy calm, then an unpleasant thought stirs in Carina's mind.
Carina: "Agenda of peace"... I've heard that before. Steve, I don't suppose your scanners were picking up anything within then last few minutes?
Civil Warrior: I have them in do-not-disturb mode to clear my heads up display. I can do a quick review across all spectrums, hold please.
Carina: Run back the last two minutes, focus on any abnormal spikes in ISO output or other strange corruptions in this room.
Civil Warrior: I mean sure I can... Oh. No. God no. Bust down that door! We're going in now, all weapons hot.
Guillotine: What is he talking about? Carina, what's wrong?
Civil Warrior: That wasn't Frank Castle we were just talking to, he has corrupted power-levels all over him... I thought he sounded odd.
Carina: His voice was different last time we heard it, when he broadcast to the Battlerealm... and called himself Glykhan. We have to hurry.
Caption: The heroes don't waste another second and blow the nearest door off its hinges with a blast of energy.
- Transmission #3
Caption: The group find themselves in the antechamber before the Galactorum. They also find this room is guarded.
Jessica Jones: Hell's bells, gang. Nearly spilled my drink. Frank said you'd make an entrance... Didn't disappoint.
Carina: No time to explain. Frank Castle is corrupted. We are all in danger. The fate of the Battlerealm is at stake. You need to move aside.
Jessica Jones: Felt like you had the time to explain. You're just bad at it. I'm used to low-level street stuff. This is all above my head and my pay-scale.
Jessica Jones: Fact of the matter is, I got a sweet gig from the Council to play hero-club bouncer out here, and you're not on the entry list.
Guillotine: Are you too simple-minded, or too arrogant, or too inebriated to understand what we're trying to say? We are here to help.
Jessica Jones: After that list of insults? I'm too thirsty and pissed-off to listen. So I'm going to kick you to the curb, then get a fresh beverage.
Ægon: She is obviously not in possession of her full faculties, either by corruptive forces or corruptive refreshments.
Jessica Jones: That's probably only half right and I don't even care which half any more. Now let's get this fight over with.
Caption: The group find themselves in the antechamber before the Galactorum. They also find this room is guarded.
Spider-Man (Supreme): Castle was right, you're obsessed. Why don't we take a deep breath and think about our next moves.
Guillotine: We don't have time for meditation. Punisher is corrupted, we are all in danger, you're going to help or get out of the way.
Spider-Man (Supreme): Astonishing, almost word for word the paranoid rant that Castle said you'd perform. Perhaps he has some sort of clairvoyance.
Spider-Man (Supreme): In addition to the Punisher, Doctor Strange himself asked me to keep you out, and I'm going to follow the doctor's orders.
Carina: He'll thank us for this after, we're going to save his life. Now allow us to pass or do we need to take drastic actions?
Caption: The group find themselves in the antechamber before the Galactorum. They also find this room is guarded.
Captain America (Sam Wilson): Blowing up doors now? Subtle. You can all just put that back up as you go wait in the other room again.
Civil Warrior: Sam, you carry the shield. You know the weight of it. We're just here to protect people.
Captain America (Sam Wilson): That's an emotional blunt-weapon you're throwing around there and you know it. Carina and you had many chances to chat things out.
Captain America (Sam Wilson): Now it's your turn to wait while others do the work.
Carina: We don't have time. None of us do. This isn't a game, it's the fate of the Battlerealm.
Captain America (Sam Wilson): And it's a room full of the most powerful humans, androids, aliens, and wizards in the multiverse. They'll get on fine without you.
Civil Warrior: I'm sorry Captain, but we just can't come to an agreement on this one. Summoner? Provide a distraction as we go in.
