Caption: After a thorough search through the various bounty board records, our heroes are no closer to finding Glykhan than when they first began.
Carina: Ugh! Proxies, firewalls, dummy accounts… dead ends! Every single possible lead to Ouroboros goes nowhere!
Civil Warrior: These systems are definitely robust. The security is top notch, and every board has some kind of purge baked into the back end. Civil Warrior: Tracing clients is almost impossible without the client connecting first. Sorry Carina. We’ll have to find another way to get to Glykhan. Carina: I’m the one who’s sorry. I’ve been dragging all of you around without a single thought to your safety. Making a ruckus, treating this like an adventure… Carina: But looking at all these bounties on your heads… so many enemies who want you all gone. I can’t help but feel responsible with my childish antics… Carina: Maybe they’re right, and I’m just another Elder meddling where I shouldn’t.

Guillotine: Boucle-la! How dare you speak about my friend in such a hurtful way?! Carina: Jeannine… Guillotine: Non! I will not hear it. You are a brilliant, courageous, heroic woman and I will not stand by while these imbeciles hurl stones from their glass houses. Guillotine: And to hear their words come from your mouth, inexcusable! Civil Warrior: Agreed. I may not have known you long Carina, but you’ve been a beacon for folks like me. Folks struggling in the Battlerealm, trying to make a difference. Civil Warrior: And I mean… you and the Summoner dethroned the Grandmster. Defeated Kang. Well, Kangs. Civil Warrior: I get that things aren’t simple, or clean, in the Battlerealm. But you actively work to make that all better, and if that’s not aspirational I don’t know what is. Carina: ...thank you all. I don’t know if I deserve to have such good friends, but I’ll make sure I’m worthy of you. Carina: There’s something else too. Something I’ve been keeping secret. The reason this Ouroboros stuff scares me so much… Caption: Before Carina can continue, a bolt of energy blasts past the group, exploding the ground nearby!

That’s gonna be my biggest payday yet! Scorpion: Some folks are afraid of the heat taking you down might bring, but I ain’t afraid of Carina or her star-spangled pals. Scorpion: But ya know what? I kinda like the idea of becoming the Contests biggest bad guy. Scorpion: Now stand still while I squash ya like the bug you are!

Guillotine: Mon dieu, I thought I was rid of this wretched shell.
Morningstar: Guilllloooootine… I hunger… for power. For empire. For blood… Guillotine: I thought I had liberated Queen Haasen’s soul from this cage, but it appears some of it yet lingers. Morningstar: I must… rebuild. Units… I need units. Destroying the Summoner… Morningstar: ...a handsome payout. Yessssss… Guillotine: Come Summoner, let us finally shear the last remnants of life from this accursed husk.
