, Electro Luke

It is preceded by 7.1.4: Usurp and succeeded by 7.1.6: Remix.

Caption: Reaching the edge of the Battlerealm's hospitable space, Carina and the Summoner prepare to venture into the forbidden territories.
Caption: Far from the busy and populated core of the Contest, a pall of quiet hovers over the desolate asteroid field.
Carina: Fun place. Carina: Well, we've got a lot of ground to cover... any kind of high-output ISO radiation is gonna be the ticket. Carina: It'll stand out more than just the ISO-8 clusters, so it should be obvious when we're close. Carina: That is, of course, if Frost was right.
- Transmission #1 - Upon starting the Quest
Caption: As they crest the hill of a massive asteroid, the Summoner and Carina are surprised to find Guillotine waiting for them at the top.
Caption: She stops surveying the area ahead, and turns to face them.
Guillotine: Salut Summoner, Carina. Carina: Guillotine! What are you doing here? Don't tell me Dad sent you to spy on me. Guillotine: Non, though what is transpiring here should interest the both of you. Guillotine: This area swirls with chaotic energies. Space itself appears unstable, shredding and rebuilding itself. Guillotine: What's more, there are several... strange Champions out there. They keep calling themselves "mash-ups." Guillotine: They are not friendly.

Carina: Looks like Emma was right, Summoner. This kind of thing could only be the work of the ISO-Sphere. Carina: The question is, who would steal it just to experiment in a wasteland? Guillotine: Either someone who does not fully understand it… Guillotine: ...or someone who does, testing the limits of its power. Carina: Neither one sounds great to me. We should hurry, maybe our "mash-up" friends will point us in the right direction.

Caption: Electricity swirls around the form of Luke Cage, who rises from a kneeled position as the three approach him.
Electro Luke: You all had best stay away. Carina: What's going on here?! Electro Luke: No idea. But… ungh… Electro Luke: ... but we've had our bodies and minds warped, combined. Our powers too. Electro Luke: AND WE CAN'T… CONTROL THEM! Guillotine: Sois prêt, Summoner!
Nightcarnage: We were hoping you would come this way! Nightcarnage: We have been given new powers... new ways to kill, by the great one! Caption: In a burst of smoke, Carnage vanishes and reappears, closer to the group.
Nightcarnage: And we want to use them on you! Guillotine: Another one of the accursed symbiotes... Guillotine: With La Fleur du Mal, I face you again! Nightcarnage: Hahahaha! Yessssss!
Punishing Angel: I was never one for contemporary weaponry. So direct, no artistry. Punishing Angel: But since I was transformed by that lunatic, I’ve started to warm up to them. Carina: Who did this? Who’s responsible? Guillotine: Be wary, Carina… Punishing Angel: I’m not interested in talking. Punishing Angel: But I am interested in testing my mettle. Come, try me!
Carina: This is crazy. Normally I'd be willing to place the blame on Uncle or Dad, but it's too much chaos to be either of them, even at their most "creative." Guillotine: I have seen something like this before, the work of M.O.D.O.K.. Carina: Unfortunately he's got an alibi. I set him to work with Uncle to keep him out of trouble. Guillotine: Then there is little we can do but search for our adversary. Carina: Right. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse than this...
