Obstruction was the fifth Quest in Act 2 Chapter 2: Thanos Ascendant, and was released on December 10, 2014. As part of the Prologue Initiative, this Quest was retired from the game on November 10, 2021.

It was preceded by 2.2.4: The Warning and succeeded by 2.2.6: The Alliance.
