It is preceded by 6.4.6: Reign and succeeded by 7.1.2: Break Out.

Caption: The Battlerealm, opposing its own nature, enjoys an uncommon stretch of stability.
Caption: With its new steward Carina Tivan at the helm of the Contest, grand gestures and sweeping commands are rare. Battle continues, but it is formalized and structured.
Caption: Even so, quiet and calm are but transitory elements in this place. New concerns begin to rear their heads, and Carina calls upon her most stalwart ally:
Carina: Summoner! Gosh, you're reliable. I don't think anyone else shows up as quick as you do. Carina: I know you get this all the time, but: I need your help. We've got some trouble. Carina: Or… well, I've got some trouble. Let me explain.

Carina: The ISO-Sphere has gone missing. Specifically my uncle's one. We had it after we stopped him, and I swear I stored it… Carina: But I've just kinda… lost track of it. Carina: Hey, don't give me that look! I've had more than enough of that today! Carina: I reached out to my council, but they couldn't commit the resources. The Avengers are busy keeping things steady, and the sorcerers are managing some temporal fluctuations. Carina: The Fantastic 4 have their hands full too; turns out stopping the arrival of Galactus is a pretty complex task. Who would've thought? Carina: Overall, everyone agreed it would be a good “show of responsibility” for me to reacquire it without their help. Carina: But they didn't say anything about you! Come on, I have a couple leads I want to look into.

Carina: Something like the ISO-Sphere won't stay hidden once someone starts fiddling with it, but I'd like to be there before that happens. Carina: To start with, we're going to need a lead. Carina: I've got a shortlist of those who deal with information; your shadow brokers, mercenaries, spies, the usual. Carina: I'll let you choose the route and how we engage. It wouldn't be fair if I started picking fights, right?

Carina: Black Widow, just as I’d hoped. We need your help!
Black Widow (Deadly Origin): Hmm, an Elder and the Summoner. I get the feeling this won’t be a small ask. Carina: It will be, at least initially! We’re looking for information; something of mine has gone missing. Black Widow (Deadly Origin): I appreciate you thinking of me as a worthwhile source, but I can’t just give away SHIELD intel. I owe them and Fury too much, kid. Carina: Kid?! You know I’m millions of years older than you, right? Black Widow (Deadly Origin): Age and experience aren’t the same thing. We’re done here. Carina: No way! Get back here!

Carina: Phew... remind me that even without superpowers, humans can put up a fight. She’s no slouch! Carina: I was hoping she’d tell us something... but this data tablet I snatched from her should give us what we need. Carina: Don’t look at me like that! I’m going to give it back in mint condition. She won’t even know it’s gone. Carina: Hmm... lots of files on various troublemakers... this “Wade Wilson” one is a mile long... Carina: Nothing about the ISO-Sphere, but there is a lot of recent information regarding the Black ISO Mafia. Carina: It looks like they’ve had a resurgence lately. Not really in character for them. I think we have our lead!
Yondu: Well well, if it ain't her majesty and the loyal silent spacesuit. Yondu: What brings y'all down to my level? Carina: A powerful Elder artifact is missing, Yondu. We were hoping you could tell us where to look. Yondu: Ho-ho! Your little ISO-globe, yeah? I might've heard a word or two, but… well, you know I want compensation. Yondu: And I know you ain't in a position to give me the things I want, princess. Carina: So word's already gotten around… well we're not leaving without an answer, Ravager. Yondu: You bust down my door, and think you can give me orders? Yondu: I'M THE CAPTAIN HERE!

Yondu: UNCLE! I GIVE! Yondu: Cripes, why do I always gotta deal with you young'uns and your chatterin' fists… Carina: Spill the beans, mohawk! Yondu: Since you asked so nicely: I don't know where your damn orb is! Yondu: All I can say is the Black ISO Mafia has been doing a lot of business lately; more than usual. Yondu: Movin' product means havin' power. They snapped to life so suddenly, could be they have your li'l toy. Yondu: But that's it! Now get the hell outta here! Carina: Done and done. Looks like we have a lead, Summoner!
Black Widow (Claire Voyant): Hmmm... The new boss, and a troublesome fly. I'd offer you a nightcap, but my cupboards are bare. Black Widow (Claire Voyant): You've already set foot on the web, so I suppose it'd be polite to ask: Black Widow (Claire Voyant): What do you want? Carina: I know you work in darker places, Ms. Voyant. We're wondering if you've heard anything interesting lately. Black Widow (Claire Voyant): I hear interesting things all the time, darling. Recounting 'em tends to be expensive. Black Widow (Claire Voyant): The soul of an Elder of the Universe would be keen payment, though. Carina: I'll, uh, pass on that. Would my charming personality be enough? Black Widow (Claire Voyant): HARDLY.

Black Widow (Claire Voyant): That won't be necessary, dollface. I ain't got much, but I hope it'll be enough to convince you both to get a wiggle on. Carina: Try me. Black Widow (Claire Voyant): Scuttlebutt is that the Black ISO Mafia is on the rise. Lowlifes, usually, but something has them hip to the jive. Black Widow (Claire Voyant): Vague, but that's the Battlerealm these days. Are you gonna let this bird fly, or am I still caged up? Carina: Flap away, avian metaphor. We'll take it; A lead's a lead!
