Red Skull is a Tech Champion. Being a Tech Champion, he has a Class Bonus against Mutant Champions, but is weak to Cosmic Champions.

Bio[]

The Red Skull has managed to orchestrate the assassinations of his enemies, manipulate his way to power, and lead HYDRA in a plan to devastate the world's most influential countries. Using his scientific talents and knowledge of the occult to research what others considered only a myth: the Cosmic Cube. Now armed with knowledge of its deepest secrets, the Red Skull has been able to harness it to power his suit of Hydra armor.

Special Attacks[]

Special 1 - Transmit Force
Red Skull strikes his opponent before passing through space to quickly catch them off-guard with two quick hits.

On activation, gain an Auto-Block Passive granting a 100% chance to Auto-Block Basic Attacks for 3 seconds. Duration is paused until the Special Attack ends, and is consumed when triggered. Auto-Block will not trigger while Red Skull is Unstoppable.
The first hit pauses all Shock Debuffs on the Opponent for 6 seconds.
Each hit deals a burst of X Energy Damage. Deal an additional burst of Energy Damage if the Opponent is suffering from a Shock Debuff.

Special 2 - Harness Power
Manipulating the power of the Cosmic Cube, Red Skull unleashes multiple projectile attacks.

On activation, gain an Unstoppable Buff for 2 seconds, plus 0.5 seconds per Armor Up Buff on Red Skull. Duration is paused until the Special Attack ends, and is consumed when struck.
Each hit inflicts a Shock Debuff dealing X Energy Damage over 6 seconds, plus 1 second per Armor Up Buff on Red Skull.

Special 3 - Kneel Before Me!
The opponent is helpless in the presence of such raw power. Red Skull bends them to his will before unleashing the full force of the Cosmic Cube upon them.

- Red Skull has access to frequent and potent Armor Up Buffs, allowing him to reduce incoming damage and push through hard hitting Opponents.

Reliable Heal Block
- Opponents who rely on Regeneration effects to stay in the fight for longer can be countered with Red Skull’s Heavy Attack.

Unstoppable Armor
- Take advantage of Red Skull’s new Unstoppable ability by using his Special 2 with as many Armor Up Buffs as possible!

Weaknesses[]

Armor Break
- Red Skull’s Armor Up Buffs feed into his other abilities, Opponents who can constantly break his Armor are unfavorable matchups!

Shock Immunity
- The majority of Red Skull’s damage output lives in his Shock Debuffs, meaning any Opponent who is Immune or highly Resistant to Shock effects will stop him in his tracks.

Inequity

Red Skull has access to plenty of Debuffs between his Heal Block, and Shocks. Increase his damage mitigation with the Inequity Mastery!

Trivia[]

Red Skull was originally a non-playable Villain character, presented as a Skill Champion. He first appeared during the Contest of Champions' first year in play. Since then, he has changed to a playable Tech Champion.
