Root

Root is a non-damaging detrimental effect. Rooted Champions cannot move, but can still attack, block, and dodge. Activating a Special Attack removes Root and prevents it from applying.

• Root was first introduced in Shadow Base Raids in November 2020. After a mixed reception, it was reintroduced a year later with Kraven 's release in December 2021.
