Superior Iron Man is a Cosmic Champion. Being a Cosmic Champion, he has a Class Bonus against Tech Champions, but is weak to Mystic Champions.

Bio[]

Tony Stark has always had an impressive ego, but following an inversion spell during the "Axis" event which brought out the worst aspects of his personality, he moved to San Francisco with a new brand of self-worth. To reflect his latest "superior" outlook, he built the Model 50, a liquid suit of adaptive Armor based off the Cosmic entities known as symbiotes.

Mechanics[]

Rivera new kit is Attacker first! Stack as many Buffs as you can and deal massive damage while doing so. Play aggressive and see the HUD glow with 8 different Unique Buffs. Intercept with ease with Auto-Block, and shut down pesky projectile attacks with the all new Instinct Buff!

Abilities[]

Always Active

Tony's Armor reduces the potency of incoming Bleed, Incinerate, and Shock effects by 50%. This is further increased by 15% for each unique Superior Buff active.
Further advancement reduces the potency of the Willpower Mastery by 75%, but increases his Bleed, Incinerate, and Shock Resistance by 5% per active rank.
Each Buff active on Iron Man grants +X Armor Rating.
Each Buff active on Iron Man grants +X Attack Rating.

Dev Notes: Trading some Willpower potency for even more resistance is key to helping Tony deal with DOTs as soon as he enters the match! Stacking Tons of Buffs, even ones from outside his Kit gives him even more Attack and Armor making him hit hard, and able to take hard hits!

Endo-Sym Armor

The symbiotic nature of Tony’s living armor protects him. He has a 25% chance to Auto-Block incoming Basic Attacks while he has 3 or more unique Superior Buffs.
While he has 5 or more unique Superior Buffs, the chance to Auto-Block is increased to 100% and it can now trigger the Parry Mastery. After triggering this way, Tony’s Auto-Block goes on cooldown for 20 seconds.

Superior Buffs

Tony Stark is better than you, and so are his Buffs. All his personal Buffs are Superior, gain a bonus 100% Ability Accuracy, and have a max stack of 8 unless otherwise stated.
Unless otherwise stated, Superior Buffs last 35 seconds, minus 8.25 seconds for each unique personal Armor Up, Energy Resistance, Critical Resistance, Regeneration, or Amplify active, and are paused during Special Attacks.
Using his Pre-Fight Ability, Tony can choose to make his first Buff a Superior Energy Resistance, Armor Up, or Amplify.
Intercepting the Opponent with a Medium Attack, or striking them with a second Medium Attack randomly grants 1 unique Core Superior Buff that Tony does not already have.
Intercepting the Opponent with a Light Attack, or striking them with a fourth Light Attack randomly grants 2 Core Superior Buffs of a type Tony already has.
Refresh all Superior Buffs whenever a new unique Superior Buff activates. This does not apply to Superior Fury or Superior Power Gain.

Dev Notes: Juggling these Superior Buffs is going to be your main objective in every fight. Use the Pre-fight to pick ones you want for specific match-ups.

Core Superior Buffs

Superior Armor Up – Increases Armor Rating by +X.
Superior Energy Resistance – Increases Energy Resistance by +X.
Superior Critical Resistance – Increases Critical Resistance by +X.
Superior Regeneration – Regenerate X Health every second. This increases by 150% while below 60% Health.
Superior Amplify – Increases Ability Power Rate by +X%.

Heavy Attack

Charging a Heavy Attack grants a Superior Instinct Buff for 10 seconds, enabling Tony to trigger the Parry Mastery against non-contact attacks. This Buff will not trigger if already active.

Dev Notes: Instinct is a new Buff that lets you Parry projectiles!

Special Attacks[]

Special Attack 1 - Repulsor Ray
Iron Man sends his opponents flying with the reliable Repulsor Ray.

For each unique Superior Buff on Tony, inflict an Armor Break Debuff, each reducing Armor Rating by X for 10 seconds.
If 2 or more unique Superior Buffs are active, gain a Superior Power Gain Buff, granting 40% of a Bar of Power over 10 seconds. This Buff will not trigger if already active.

Special Attack 2 - Uni-Beam
Iron Man takes flight and activates his chest-mounted Uni-Beam Projection Gun.

On activation, gain 1 copy of each active Core Superior Buff.
Inflict a non-stacking Armor Break Debuff for 15 seconds, reducing Armor Rating by X, with 50% increased potency for each Buff on Tony.

Special Attack 3 - Billion-Dollar Punch
A rocket-boosted uppercut sends his opponent airborne, where they're subjected to an array of Iron Man's weaponry.

Gain a Superior Fury Buff increasing Attack Rating by +X for 10 seconds. While this Fury is active, pause all other Superior Buffs. This Buff will not trigger if already active

Signature Ability - Extremis 3.0verload[]

Always Active

Further exploitation of the Extremis 3.0 virus grants Tony incredible rejuvenation capabilities. While below 30% Health, increase the potency of Superior Regenerations by X%.
More time with the suit allows Tony to reduce the cooldown of the Endo-Sym Armor Auto-Block by X%.
Whenever Tony is inflicted with a Bleed, Incinerate, or Shock effect, pause his personal Buffs for X seconds.
