The Chronoserpent is character first seen at the end of the New York Comic Con 2014 reveal trailer. It was later seen in a coming soon panel that appeared in game where on twitter Kabam Gabe said that the character is the endgame. It then appeared in the story event Avengers Forever's cutscene saying the champions blemish in its domain that it was exiled from. It was next seen in Act 6.4 where Carina enters an ISO-8 state where she confronts a shard of the ancient enemy and pledges to destroy it.
In the cutscene of the story event Clash of Champions, Mister Fantastic reveals that when the Battlerealm was formed, its very core was tainted by a corrupting force, a nefarious creature from a dead cosmos before our own. He also reveals that no one knows it true name just its many titles and the last one being the Chronoserpent. He last explains that it was dormant but now its awake and its body is slowly coiling around the cosmos as we speak.
With the conclusion of Marvel Realm of Champions a final cutscene was released showcasing the Chronoserpent. It is revealed after the Maestro is murdered by a corrupted Punisher connected to the serpent. Anathi the Wakandan reporter tasked with finding that out is captured and taken to the head of the serpent. There with the help of King T'Challa and the infinity Claw buys others time to flee before Galactus arrives and confronts the serpent destroying Battleworld. Fleeing from the destruction Anathi reveals that it is a celestial parasite that uses worlds as hosts to grow and become stronger. It empowers native beings to become "antibodies" and protect the planet while the serpent is vulnerable.. being like the Maestro. Kabam Gabe on twitter also revealed that the one in the cutscene is the head the serpent and the others are fragments of the same entity as seen in Act 6.4.
The Chroneserpent made another appearance in the 9 year anniversary trailer "Call of the Ouroboros!". Where Black Widow (Scytalis), Hulk (Bahamet), Cerastes and the corrupted Punisher (Glykhan) are ready to fight the Champions, The Chronoserpent appears in the background.
