The Deal was the first Quest in Act 3 Chapter 4: Thanos' Challenge, and was released on December 10, 2014. As part of the Prologue Initiative, this Quest was retired from the game on November 10, 2021.
It was preceded by 3.3.6: Empty Threats and succeeded by 3.4.2: Showdown.

The Collector: Maestro, please! Remember: Thanos is but a participant in your Contest. Maestro: Yes. Ah. Of course. Thanos, how will you challenge me if you cannot even defeat the Summoner?
Thanos: Do not worry, Maestro. Given enough time, Thanos always wins.
