Blade: Are you out of you minds? Who are you people?
Doctor Strange: Eric Brooks. The half-vampire known as Blade, the Daywalker. Be careful, he's new in the Battlerealm, probably under the illusion that he's still back home.
Blade: Why'd you get between me and my vampire hunting, Strange?
Doctor Strange: Guillotine is no vampire, Blade.
Blade: The hell she isn't! She might not have fangs, but that demon sword she carries around is worse than a hundred suck-heads!

Blade: You're damn right. So get out of the way and let me do my job.
Doctor Strange: However… Jeannine Savage, the current wielder, uses the wicked impulses of the sword to fight evil, not feed it. She's a hero, not a bloodsucker.
Doctor Strange: Much like you, Daywalker, using your own vampiric powers to fight vampires themselves.
Blade: …Okay, Strange. Let's do it your way… For now.
