Night Thrasher: Time's up, Diablo! Your pawns have all fallen and now there's nothing to get in our way. Diablo: You mean besides the centuries of alchemy and sciences on my side? You've played your hand, I've seen all of your moves and strategies, and I have potions to counter them all!
Thing: Den how 'bout a wild card? Night Thrasher: Another one? Tony you take Diablo, I'll cover Thing. Thing: Nah, I got 'dis one. Been plannin' on introducin' him to my fists for a reeaal long time now.
- Transmission #1 - Upon starting the Quest
Night Thrasher: If you're really Ben, then why don't you explain where you've been this whole time. Thing: When Reed's machine got messed up I got sent into da abyss dimension. Diablo here has also been trapped there fer a good amount of time, so he was able to track me down and fish me out 43 months later, give or take. Thing: Wearing a convincing disguise of Reed, he tracks me down and tells me all sortsa lies. Thing: Tells me that the machine worked and everyone was able to leave; at the expense of me being lost. Wouldn't be the first time his machines didn't work in my favor. Thing: Gives me a potion to teleport me back home to see my Alicia, and bam! Locked in a cage specifically designed to hold 'da likes of me. Thing: I should have figured it out when it was a potion instead of a transponder, like Reed would make, but how would I know? Brainiac has mixed some concoctions before. Thing: Besides, after 3 years floatin' through nuthin' I was willin' ta believe anything.

Thing: So imagine my surprise today when I found myself in the body of one Red Hulk. Thing: The cage designed to hold the ever-loving blue-eye Thing wasn't expecting any fire so I was able ta make short work of it while you kept goggles over 'ere busy. Thing: So thanks for 'dat, but there's been something I've been waiting almost 4 years ta say. Thing: IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!
